While people were watching that other sporting event in London this morning, Dane Reynolds won his heat at the U.S. Open, then ran across the street to be inducted into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame.

Pretty cool. Especially for a guy in his 20’s who gave up competitive surfing last year saying, I prefer surfing as an art as opposed to a sport. It’s such a rad thing that it’s crazy to confine it to a certain criteria.”
